Munster’s youngsters have been benefiting from the expertise of world renowned scrummaging coach Mike Cron this week.

The New Zealand scrum coach is spending the week in the Munster area, working alongside his Munster counterpart Paul McCarthy, imparting his knowledge to the next generation of rugby players.

He arrived in Ireland on Tuesday and was straight to work on Wednesday morning, running a scrum clinic with McCarthy for the academy players.

Cron has been involved in the national set up in New Zealand since 2004 and works across the rugby spectrum, from the All Blacks to age-group internationals as well as Super 15 sides.
