The Aviva Stadium is poised to enter the Magners League record books this weekend with a 50,000 sell-out crowd predicted for the clash between Leinster and Munster.

The biggest gate in Magners League history to date was the 48,000 who crammed into the old Lansdowne Road for the ‘Last Stand’ match between Leinster and Ulster on New Year’s Eve 2006.

Saturday night’s meeting between the two arch rivals will be the 17th time a Celtic Rugby fixture has attracted a 20,000+ gate.

Amazingly, 14 of those games have involved Munster and all bar three of them have been played in Ireland.

Here is the list of the Magners League’s biggest gates ahead of Saturday night’s massive match up.
