Horan out for at least four weeks

Marcus Horan has become the latest player to join Munster’s injury list after he was ruled out for at least four weeks.

The loose-head prop has made an appearance in every Magners League match for the province so far this season, broke a bone in his wrist whilst training in the gym on Monday.

The 33-year-old is visiting a specialist in Dublin today although initial assessments have indicated that he will be out of action for four to six weeks.

In other injury news for the region, Jerry Flannery who suffered a reoccurrence of a calf injury in his comeback game against Toulon at the weekend will travel to Liverpool at the end of the week for further specialist examination.
