Leinster winger Luke Fitzgerald and Connacht prop Brett Wilkinson have been called up to the Ireland squad ahead of the autumn international series.

Fiztergerald was not originally named in Declan Kidney’s 34-man squad due to a hip injury, but the 23-year-old who has been capped 13-times by his country, has returned to fitness and now links up with the squad in Limerick.

Uncapped Wilkinson has been included as front row cover following Marcus Horan’s injury.

The Ireland squad are based in Limerick for a week-long training camp ahead of their first fixture against South Africa in Dublin on Saturday 6 November.
