Blues duo Gethin Jenkins and Sam Warburton are both set to be fit for Wales’ clash against Tri-Nations champions New Zealand on Saturday.
Prop Jenkins and flanker Warburton took part in training today and should be available for selection on Thursday alongside former club-mate Andy Powell who has also recovered from a groin injury.
The Blues pair both picked up calf injuries in the loss to Australia at the start of November and had to watch from the sidelines as Wales could only manage a 16-16 draw against Fiji last weekend.
However there is some bad news after Deiniol Jones was ruled out after fracturing his cheek against the south sea islanders.
"Most of the guys have trained today," said Jenkins.
"Deiniol is out after fracturing his cheek in the last game, which rules him out against New Zealand.
”Everyone else will train. They've all taken part in light training this morning and will build it up through the week."
