Lydiate back for the Dragons

Wales flanker Dan Lydiate is set to return for the Newport Gwent Dragons this weekend as they enter a fortnight of European rugby action.

The 22-year-old excelled for Wales in the back-row this autumn but was ruled out of last Friday’s Magners League clash with Ulster after picking up a few niggles on International duty in the defeat to New Zealand.

The Ravenhill fixture was called off due to the weather conditions in Northern Ireland but Lydiate has been passed fit for the Dragons game against London Wasps at Rodney Parade on Sunday.
