Connacht v Munster gets the go-ahead

Connacht’s Round 11 Magners League game against Munster looks set to go ahead this evening (27th Dec) at 6.10pm.

The game was rescheduled from St Stephen's Day as the pitch at The Sportsground was frozen following a week of heavy frost accross Ireland. The straw that had been laid down to help protect the playing surface was lifted yesterday morning by a team of volunteers and Connacht were able to complete their Captain's run on the main pitch yesterday lunchtime.

All tickets for this game have been sold and those that can't make it to The Sportsground can watch the game live on TG4 at 6.10pm.


Connacht Rugby Squad Update

Ahead of Saturday’s Guinness PRO12 round 7 game away to Leinster, the Connacht Rugby medical team have provided the following update.
