Edinburgh stand-off David Blair has been looking ahead to Sunday’s Greaves Sports 1872 Cup derby rematch against Glasgow Warriors at Murrayfield (kick-off 5.35pm).

In an exclusive video interview with, the fly-half, who scored all the capital club’s points in a 30-18 defeat at Firhill on Monday, encourages the black and red army to turn out in force as Edinburgh seek the win that would give them a chance of reclaiming the much-prized silverware.

Blair confirmed: “We’ve had fantastic crowds at both Firhill and Murrayfield down the years, and to play in front of them really does lift the guys and makes for a really good atmosphere.

“The supporters we took through to Glasgow on Monday gave us great backing, and it would be tremendous to have another big crowd behind us come Sunday.”
