Lee Byrne is back fit and set to return to action this weekend.
The Ospreys full-back has been stuck on the sidelines since picking up a wrist injury during Wales' autumn defeat at the hands of New Zealand.
But Byrne is expected to return to the Ospreys squad for their European clash with London Irish on the weekend.
"Lee trained with us yesterday and is out of his wrist plaster," said Ospreys head coach Sean Holley.
"His hand and wrist are still quite stiff but we will take him down the next step and our medical team tell me he is available for selection."
Byrne has made just six appearances for the reigning champions this season and is expected to feature in Wales' RBS 6Nations squad. But the Ospreys hope to have their British & Irish Lions star available for the second half of the season.
