Leinster injury update

Leinster are hopefully that Ireland duo Gordon D’Arcy and Jamie Heaslip could return to fitness ahead in time for their last European pool clash against Racing Metro this weekend.

D’Arcy pulled up injured in the captain’s run on Friday ahead of the clash with Saracens with an injured calf but should be available at the weekend.

Heaslip also missed the match with an ankle injury which he initially sustained against Clermont Auvergne on December 12 but it is hoped he has now fully recovered.

The Irish side are third in the Magners League, just a solitary point behind the Scarlets in second and return to action in the competition on Thursday 10 February when Aironi visit the RDS.
