Edinburgh can’t wait to return to Magners League action in a fortnight and put a successful run together in the tournament according to chief executive Craig Docherty.
The Scottish side find themselves in 7th place after 13 Magners League games and are targeting a strong run-in for the second half of the season.
“We are looking forward to getting back into the Magners League in a couple of weeks,” said Docherty.
“We had a couple of tough weeks in Europe and we will be looking to put that right in Dragons game.
“Margins are so small in the professional game as we have found out, but we are working hard to get something out of the season.
“Tim’s (Visser) contract is extension is fantastic for the club. I would like someone to tell me a club in Europe that would not want to sign him.
“He is one of the most exciting talents that I have seen and the signing shows people we are serious and shows what we are all about.
“We want to keep the best players here but every club had budget constraints. We are working hard to make it work though.”
The Dragons host Edinburgh at Rodney Parade on Saturday February 12, kick off 14:00.
