Magners League leaders Munster have announced significant reductions in their ticket prices for league games next year in recognition of the current economic climate.

The Irish province will have tickets starting from €20 as well as a new family-orientated season-ticket packages.

The two largest categories of Magners League tickets at Musgrave Park and Thomond Park Stadium have been reduced by 14.3% and 9.1% respectively.

"We felt it important to review our Magners League ticket pricing, bearing in mind the current economic climate and financial pressures that we are all under,” said Munster Rugby sales and marketing manager Glyn Billinghurst.

“We also wanted to establish a family ticket package that provided real value whether in the terraces or the stand.

“We believe that the three packages that have been established will enable our younger supporters and their parents to have real choice and unbeatable value when attending Magners League matches in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park Stadium.

“In addition we are looking to provide our 10-year ticket holders and Munster Rugby supporters club members with a range of additional exclusive ticket offers through the season that will both reward their loyalty and provide opportunities for their friends and family to come along to the Magners League.

“Further details of these will be available as we get closer to the new season”
