Leinster’s Richardt Strauss is under no doubt that his side will face a huge battle when they line-up against Munster in the Magners League Grand Final this weekend.
Fresh from their European Cup success in Cardiff last weekend, Leinster are back training in Dublin ahead of Saturday evening’s clash at Thomond Park.
And the 25-year-old, Pretoria born hooker is hungry for more trophies after tasting success last weekend.
“We know that it is going to be a tough battle against Munster,” he said.
“We know them pretty well and they are a physical side. We have to try and stop their momentum and if we can do that is will be a close game.
“We are a proud squad and are ready to take them on this weekend, we are hungry to win more trophies.”
The emotional rollercoaster of winning the European Cup could have took it’s toll on a lesser team but Strauss believes the players are in good health, mentality and physically ahead of the final.
“We have been well managed all season and the coaching staff have looked after us in the run in to the end of the season, so we are all ready to go.”
