Benetton Treviso team announcement

6 Oct 2011

In their sixth RaboDirect PRO12 game this season and following two consecutive wins – first away to Glasgow, followed up by a home win against Scarlets – Benetton Treviso face Ulster at Ravenhill.

Ulster are one of three teams in the League that last season beat Benetton Treviso both home and away.

There is only one change in the backs to Franco Smith's side: Tobias Botes returns and starts, after having recovered from the injury experienced during the friendly game against Bayonne nearly 2 months ago.

In the pack, Valerio Bernabò is paired with skipper Antonio Pavanello, while Benjamin Vermaak is playing flanker.

Treviso can count also on some players returning from the unlucky adventure in the World Cup in New Zealand.

Lorenzo Cittadini is starting as tight-head prop and centre Alberto Sgarbi starts from the bench.

The team will fly this afternoon to Dublin and then to Belfast, where the match against Ulster will take place Friday evening. Mr. Pennè from the Italian Federation will referee.
