Newport Gwent Dragons have named a 28 man squad for the RaboDirect PRO12 match against Connacht at Rodney Parade on Friday (7:15pm).

Danny Lydiate and Toby Faletau are both available again for the Dragons after being rested last weekend following their Grand Slam winning exploits. Their return means that Hywel Stoddart returns to Newport after making his debut from the bench last week.

Andy Tuilagi has recovered from a dead leg and is fit for selection for Friday’s home clash.

• Newport Gwent Dragons have won four of their last five matches in the RaboDirect PRO12.
Danny Lydiate is named in the squad for the first time since being named RBS 6 Nations Player of the Tournament.
• The Dragons only defeat at Rodney Parade in any competition in 2012 was 14-24 to Munster in the PRO12 on 3 March.
• Connacht have won just one RaboDirect PRO12 encounter since round four: 26-13 at home to Edinburgh on 24 February.
• Second row Rob Sidoli has been on the pitch for the Dragons for the longest this season – a total of 1792 minutes. This is only bettered in the squad by Toby Faletau with 1812 minutes (however most of them were for Wales).
