Jake Ball, the Llanelli Scarlets lock forward has been cited for alleged dangerous play in a ruck, scrum or maul under Law 10.4 (k) after 35 minutes of the RaboDirect PRO12 match against Munster in Musgrave Park, Cork on Sunday.
The citing was made by the RaboDirect PRO12 Citing Commissioner appointed for the match and the hearing will be held in front of an independent RaboDirect PRO12 disciplinary committee. The date and venue of the hearing have yet to be confirmed.
Law 10.4 (k)Dangerous play in a scrum, ruck or maul. Players must not charge into a ruck or maul without binding onto a player in the ruck or maul.
