For first time since the PRO12 tournament kicked off in 2011 fans across the Championship were treated to a feast of tries with the a total of 45 breaking the previous record of 43 scored in Round 22 of the 2015/16 season.

In addition, a new record for Bonus Points was also set with nine earned (6 try bonus point and 3 losing bonus point) across the Championship this weekend.

The glut of tries came as the intense competition in the Guinness PRO12 continues with just four points separating leaders Ulster Rugby from sixth-placed Cardiff Blues.
