Geldenhuys

Zebre Rugby will be back in action tomorrow in Parma in the 10th round of the Guinness PRO12 hosting the Scarlets at Stadio Lanfranchi.

The Italian side missed last weekend game in Belfast due to an iced pitch at Kingspan Stadium and will face the team with the longest winning streak with six wins in a row. Zebre are looking for their first home win of the season after gaining the first success in Edinburgh in Round 7 back in October.

For this encounter the Italian coaching staff could count on eight internationals back to Parma after the November test match of Italy.

The Azzurri campaign costs much in terms of injures to Zebre with Furno, Lovotti, Mbandà and captain Biagi ruled out of the game injured.

Lock Geldenhuys – who announced his retirement from the Italian national team during the week- will be Zebre skipper tomorrow against a side never beaten by the Parma based franchise. In the previous 4 encounters at Stadio Lanfranchi Zebre fail short two times, in the 2013/14 draw and in the following season when a Priestland’s penalty kick in the injury time gave the Welsh side the win.
