Best of social media reaction to the Lions’ draw with the Hurricanes

The British & Irish Lions know that only victory will do ahead of the second Test match against New Zealand on Saturday – and they warmed up with a thrilling 31-31 draw against Hurricanes.

Places are up for grabs ahead of the second Test in Wellington and players from across the Guinness PRO12 staked their claim.

And the match certainly whipped up a storm on Twitter as the Hurricanes finished strongly to rescue a draw, with several Lions players standing out.

Leinster prop Cian Healy was impressed by what he saw from, the front row.

Andy Nicol was hanging out with Glasgow Warriors fans as Tommy Seymour crossed the whitewash.

Paul Wallace believes Iain Henderson is hard to ignore for Saturday’s Test.

And Brian O’Driscoll is also a fan after Henderson produced a huge display.

Rory Best captained the side and was delighted his family arrived to see him play.

Tommy Seymour is adamant there are still places up for grabs.

Former Wales international Andy Powell wants to see more from countryman Taulupe Faletau.

Lewis Moody is waiting to see if there will be any changes to the squad.
