Meet the Ambassadors!

Introducing the Guinness PRO12 Ambassadors! They'll be supplying us with exclusive interviews, sharing behind the scenes insights on the Guinness PRO12 blog and, perhaps most importantly, hosting their clubs' Guinness PRO12 MasterClasses at Easter. All told, we're going to be keeping them pretty busy this season!

Veteran lock Michael Swift is Connacht’s longest serving player in their history, having made almost 150 appearances since his arrival in 2000.

The 34-year-old second row was a key cog of the Connacht side which won their first ever Heineken Cup match last term and made 18 starts in the RaboDirect PRO12 last term.

Swift began his career in England with Richmond before joining Leeds Tykes but in 2000 he relocated to Ireland where he joined Galwegians as well as Connacht.
