Playing for the first time at Firhill the Warriors scored four tries in a first half blitz inspired by number eight Johnny Beattie.
The win took Glasgow up to fifth in the league and comprehensively ended any hopes the Gunners had of claiming top spot after Munster fell to Ulster on Saturday.
Beattie scored one try himself and was heavily involved in further scores from Canadian Kevin Tkachuk, fly half Colin Gregor and full back Graydon Staniforth.
In the second half centre Graeme Morrison scored and Beattie again put Staniforth in. The Warriors’ scoring was completed with two penalties and four conversions from Gregor and one conversion from substitute Dan Parks.
All the Gunners could muster in reply was two penalties from their captain Duncan Hodge.
