Ulster secured top spot in the Magners League with convincing 43-7 victory over the Ospreys at Ravenhill.
Flyhalf David Humphreys was once again the key player notching 23 points for the hosts.
Humphreys kicked the scoring off with an early penalty but the visitors rallied with Justin Marshall and Gavin Henson created the space for fullback Lee Byrne to score.
James Hook slotted an excellent conversion to give the Ospreys a slim lead but that was to be their last contribution to the game.
Humphresy closed the gap with a long range penalty and they took the lead on the half hour Ulster when Rory Best squeeze went over in the corner before his flyhalf added the extras.
Another penalty from Humpreys stretched their advantage and another just before the hour mark put them firmly in control.
Hook faile dwith hi next attempt to reduce the arrears and their task was made all the more difficult when Alun Wyn Jones was sin-binned for a late tackle.
Humphreys added to the visitors’ woes by slotting the resulting penalty.
Ulster extended their lead after the break when Tommy Bowe grabbed a try and when Humphreys added the extras the score was 26-7
A good break from Isaac Boss put Paul Steinmetz away soon after and the bonus point was their’s when replacement Neil McMillan and Humphreys completed another seven point haul.
