Ulster secured their tenth successive home win in the league with tonight’s performance against the Borders.
A sloppy start and consistent mistakes saw the Borders dominate the first half and secure the opening try.
Ulster looked poor and went into the break 5-3 down and looking for that spark of inspiration that has kept them at the top of the table.
The second half saw a reborn Ulster side, they gained a early one point lead thanks to David Humphreys. These points now make Humphreys the first player to reach 100 points in the Magners League.
Although the Borders managed to find some more points, the second half saw Ulster take control and secure maximum points with tries from Justin Fitzpatrick and Paul Steinmetz.
